Frequently Asked Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions?
What age groups do you cater to?
Our swim school offers tailored swimming lessons designed to accommodate children aged 3 to 15 years old. With a focus on personalized instruction, these schools provide age-appropriate curriculum and small group settings to ensure individual attention and effective learning. Experienced instructors create a nurturing environment where younger children explore water safety fundamentals and basic swimming techniques through engaging activities. For older children, lessons emphasize stroke refinement, endurance building, and advanced water safety skills to enhance their swimming proficiency.
What qualifications do your instructors have?
At our swim school, our instructors have both their National Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instructor qualifications, ensuring the highest standards of safety and instruction for children aged 3 to 15 years old. With these certifications, our teachers demonstrate proficiency in lifeguarding techniques, emergency response protocols, and comprehensive water safety practices. Their expertise extends beyond supervision to encompass effective teaching methodologies tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels. Equipped with the knowledge and skills imparted by these certifications, our instructors create engaging and supportive learning environments where children can develop essential swimming skills while prioritizing safety at all times.
What do we need to bring to our first lesson?
At our swim school , we encourage parents to prepare their children for the first lesson by bringing essential items to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Parents should remember to pack goggles, swimsuits, sunscreen, and a copy of their child's latest report card. Sunscreen is crucial for outdoor sessions to shield against harmful UV rays. Additionally, providing a copy of the latest report card allows instructors to better understand the child's academic progress and tailor instruction accordingly. By coming prepared with these items, parents help set the stage for a successful and enriching swimming journey for their child at our backyard private swim school.
What is your make up lesson policy?
If a makeup lesson is necessary, we're happy to accommodate by extending the session to either Saturday or Sunday. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and ensuring you receive the instruction you need is our priority. Just let us know your preferred day, and we'll make the necessary arrangements to ensure you receive the quality lesson you deserve.
